1. Technical introduction
The carbonization (dry distillation) method is a breakthrough resource-based solid waste treatment high-tech. Carbonization technology is an advanced environmental technology that treats sludge and other organic solid waste under anoxic conditions without secondary pollution. Since there is no direct combustion of sludge, the dry distillation process is under anoxic conditions, and the control of the heating temperature determines that the dry distillation/carbonization process does not have the conditions to produce dioxins. The products after dry distillation include water, combustible biogas and biochar.
The water evaporates during the drying process, and can be discharged up to the standard after a simple treatment after condensation. Combustible biogas is introduced into combustion and reused, which not only greatly reduces flue gas emissions, but also makes full use of its combustion calorific value to achieve energy saving and reduce operating costs. Biochar has stable chemical properties and is rich in nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. It can be used as soil amendments, adsorption materials, organic fertilizer additives, and microbial carriers. The harmless effect is obvious. High temperature treatment (above 200oC) can kill all sludge pathogens, and dry distillation can also solidify heavy metals in the sludge. Biochar has a microporous structure and strong adsorption capacity, which can significantly improve soil physical and chemical properties and micro-ecological environment, and effectively improve soil fertility. Scientific research shows that biochar has the effect of retaining water and fertilizer, can reduce the amount of fertilizer used, not only reduces the cost of farming, but also reduces the pollution of groundwater. In recent years, the role of biochar in solving global ecological environmental security and sustainable agricultural development has been universally recognized, and has been hailed as "black gold" by academia. Many countries have established special institutions to study the theory and application prospects of biochar.
2. Development prospects under the situation of carbon peak and carbon neutrality
